Ankh: Key of Life -- our latest creation and true combination of ancient philosophy and modern space aged manufacturing techniques. 
 
The Key of Life is a unique giant double sided tuning fork, which combines elements of our Sound Swords and Solar Bells in the form of a homage to one of the most iconic symbols to inspire humanity from antiquity to modern times.

Representing the forces of Eternal Life, Creation, and Illumination – the Ankh is a symbol representing the duality of the universe through the principles of the Masculine, Feminine, and Unification of the two – leading to the illumination and mastery of the creative forces of the universe.

Tunings & Sizes

Ankh: Key of Life comes in two different sizes and frequencies –  A or F, with the A being the smaller in size and the F being the larger piece.

Each is tuned to an octave of itself, with the legs of the Ankh the lower note and the upper loop being an octave higher.

This configuration creates a unique interaction between the bottom and top portion, which causes both sides to vibrate when only the bottom is struck.

Both are tuned based on a 432hz Pythagorean based tuning system, like the majority of our instruments.

Symbology & Meaning –  The inscriptions are a further homage to this theme as they are an invocation to the nature of the deities Horus and Ra – as well as personal inscription meant to be a daily reminder that those wielding this tool are instruments and reflection of the Divine.follows.

The top loop reads:

Left: Messenger of the Sun, Living servant of Re, Divine seed of Atum
Right: Deliver sound and guiding light to the children of the land"


The Arms, while they don’t intrinsically make up a sentence, feature a duality motif. Sun and Moon, Eye of Hours and Ra (plus their bird forms) and the up/downward triangles for the directions. This area represents duality. 

The central column leading into the split in the legs reads

“Given Life like ra”

Snakes – the snakes we find on the legs (and flanking the winged disk on the loop) are also representative of duality. We often see binary pairs of snakes in Egyptian artwork symbolizing movement of energy. We also see these serpents flanking the sun disk, which is representative of the unification of the masculine and feminine principles, which is required to attain the highest form of consciousness in the Egyptian pantheon – the Sun.

Legs –  here we see the following motif. The triangle meaning “to give” is positioned under a basket and two symbols the “Uas” (left) and the “Djed” (right).

The bowl has obvious meanings such as “to contain” or “containing the totality” of the objects above the symbol.

Often one will find these two symbols and the Ankh depicted together above the basket, which symbolizes Prosperity (Uas), Life (Ankh), and Stability (Djed).

Together this “Given the totality of prosperity, life, and stability” and the totality of principles represented in these symbols.

So to you, whoever has found this tool in their hand, these inscriptions are a reminder that you are a living embodiment of the universal forces which have created this world we inhabit.
